Is it possible to completely cure chronic gastritis? It gets a little better, then gets worse again, and I have gas and it's really tough.

Hello. I'm posting this because I've been having a hard time lately and I'm wondering if a complete cure for chronic gastritis is even possible. Since I work in the food service industry, taking care of my health is really not easy. My eating schedule is irregular, and while working, I end up eating whatever I feel like. Honestly, I don't have the luxury of picking out healthy foods, though I did try to eat a little bit only when my stomach was really giving me trouble. Because I unintentionally ate a lot of spicy food and my meal times were erratic, at some point, my stomach started feeling constantly unwell. At first, I thought I was just being a bit sensitive, but the burning sensation in my pit of my stomach and the bloating wouldn't go away, so I went to the hospital and had an endoscopy, and they diagnosed me with chronic gastritis. I was prescribed medication and have been taking it diligently, but it only gets a little better while I'm taking it; as soon as I stop, it goes back to how it was before. So, I'm curious to hear from those with experience about what criteria should be used to define a complete cure for chronic gastritis. Honestly, I don't know if the place I'm currently going to isn't a good fit for me, or if the prescription just isn't right for me. It’s been several months now that I’m not getting better even with medication, so I’m not sure if it’s normal for it to last this long. I’m curious if there is a standard for a complete cure for chronic gastritis, or if I just have to manage it for the rest of my life. Given the nature of the food service industry, it is difficult to improve my eating habits. If anyone has actually achieved a complete cure for chronic gastritis, I really want to hear how you did it. If medication doesn't work, do I need to find other methods? Haha. Please let me know if you have any good tips or recommendations for hospitals or traditional Korean medicine clinics.
