It rained a lot recently, and I felt a bit chilly, so I realized I needed to get some made quickly. I make sure to get herbal tonics made at least once a year during the change of seasons. In the years I definitely took them, I rarely caught a cold, and even during the COVID-19 outbreak, while everyone around me was collapsing one after another, I just got through it with a runny nose. Seeing that, I thought, "Ah, it really does work." I feel like I need to get them in advance this time too to survive the flu season and get through the winter, so I’m slowly starting to look into it. At first, they examined me thoroughly and were kind enough to get my seasonal tonics made frequently, but as time went on, it felt like they had become a bit perfunctory.
