Is there any other way to treat facial seborrheic dermatitis besides ointment? Please recommend both dermatology clinics and traditional Korean medicine clinics. What should I do if I suddenly developed seborrheic dermatitis when I had no skin concerns until six months ago? 😅 It spread instantly to my eyebrows, the sides of my nose, my forehead, and my cheeks. I usually go to a dermatologist regularly, so I went right away, but the prescription I received was a steroid ointment. When I asked for something other than steroids, they prescribed a milder one or Elidel. It does subside when applied. But what happens if I stop? It flares up even more severely starting this year. After using it for two weeks, I felt like my skin was getting thinner, so I got scared and stopped, and sure enough, it was the same result. ㅠ I asked them to switch the ointment, and they changed it to one with yellow fungus, but even after using it for a month, I felt zero improvement. I tried buying all the highly-rated products from pharmacies, but for me, they actually stung and made my skin even redder, so I gave up. Besides the facial seborrheic dermatitis ointment, I cut out all flour and dairy from my diet, quit drinking, and changed the ingredients in my skincare products one by one, but any noticeable change? Absolutely none at all. lol ㅠ At this point, are there any others out there who are going through the same thing as me? Nothing works, and the hospital doesn't even explain the cause (which I don't really understand). It's just a situation where I keep repeating the same ointment... Am I the only one experiencing this? I even went to a dermatology clinic like "Something Morning" that does demodex mite tests... Does anyone have any recommendations for a new place to visit?
