I’ve always had atopic dermatitis, but lately it feels like psoriasis or eczema is breaking out as well, and it’s getting progressively worse. The itching is severe, and there is oozing; it’s so bad that I can’t concentrate at work, so the stress from my skin is overwhelming. It’s not unbearable, but it’s kind of scary that it keeps getting worse like this. It started getting a little worse after I became an adult, but this year is truly the worst. If I switch to a stronger ointment, it gets better for a while, but then it just goes back to how it was before. A while ago, my skin flared up badly after drinking, so I went to a dermatologist and got an injection, but there wasn't as much change as I expected. I don't think I can just let it slide anymore, so I’m trying to find a proper treatment method. I did look into immunotherapy for atopic dermatitis, but I’m a bit hesitant about going to a university hospital, so I’m looking into other options for now. I’ve heard that some people have received treatment for atopic skin at Korean traditional medicine clinics; has anyone actually seen results? Please give me some recommendations from people with real experience, not just advertisements.
