I'm looking for people to share my concerns with because it's incredibly difficult to figure out the cause and direction of treatment for my adult acne (I didn't even have that much acne in high school, unfortunately). My skin is naturally on the thinner side, so it gets irritated easily no matter what I do. I once received a procedure at a clinic called A0ne, but the inflammation lasted for a very long time, which was really tough. Others said their recovery was quick, but for me, it took an exceptionally long time, and the scars didn't fade easily. To be honest, that experience has made me a bit apprehensive about dermatological procedures. So, to treat the root cause of my adult acne, I'm wondering if it might be better for me to address my constitution and internal causes at a Korean medicine clinic rather than irritating the skin itself. However, I also really want the breakouts to go down quickly, so it's a tricky situation where I can't just give up on dermatology completely. I was recommended GoldXXX, but I heard it's extremely painful. So, right now, I have exactly two concerns. 1) Korean medicine treatment with a low recurrence rate :: Properly addressing the root cause of adult acne, even if it takes time 2) Dermatology treatment where symptoms subside quickly :: Quickly resolving visible issues first I have absolutely no idea which approach would be a better fit for me, given that I have thin skin that is sensitive to irritation. For those of you whose acne has worsened since your late 20s and won't go away, and who have experience treating the underlying causes, please recommend some hospital treatments!
