I work in Yeouido, and I'm writing this because my health feels like it's completely falling apart lately 😮‍💨 I'm also posting this because I'm frustrated that I missed the timing for treating my seborrheic dermatitis. I've always been the type to get stressed easily, but I get angry frequently and have headaches often, so I lived on headache medication. I used to get IV drips frequently at a nearby internal medicine clinic and just held on like that, but as that kept repeating, I think my immune system dropped significantly. My skin did get a bit red starting the month before last as the seasons changed, but I ignored it, thinking it was just because I was sensitive. However, recently, my face completely broke out unlike usual ㅜㅠ, so I went to a dermatologist. They diagnosed it as eczema? or facial seborrheic dermatitis and gave me Elidel ointment and medication. The medicine looked similar to what I usually take, so I took it and applied the ointment, but there wasn't much improvement. But when I wear makeup, it feels like internal heat is trapped inside? The itching is severe, and it stings and hurts after I wipe my face with tissue at night. It looks swollen, too... I can't go without makeup... I was really so upset. I haven't been drinking heavily or anything lately, but my skin just broke out. It's a huge financial burden, and when I looked it up, treating seborrheic dermatitis seems difficult and time-consuming. What am I supposed to do about my self-esteem? ㅜㅜ I even went to a dermatology clinic near my workplace, but it was similar. Just medication and ointment... They told me not to use it for too long, so I was given a strong ointment, but I'm a bit scared to use it, so I haven't been able to. I feel even more anxious because they said it can't be completely cured. I wonder if there is even an accurate treatment method... Anyway, it's not just a skin issue. It feels like my whole body is really exhausted. But I don't know where to start. Is it my immune system, stress, or my skin? It seems like everything is connected, but beyond just treating seborrheic dermatitis, where do I even begin to address these kinds of problems?????
