I've had gastroenteritis symptoms for years... I don't even know the cause, I've just been taking medicine and given up.

I'm writing this because I really don't understand the symptoms of gastritis. I haven't even eaten anything spicy, so I don't know why this is happening. It's been quite a while since I was diagnosed with gastritis. A few years ago, I just assumed my stomach was a bit upset and took digestive medicine to get over it. But the medicine only worked temporarily; as soon as I stopped taking it, the symptoms would come back. This cycle has been repeating for years. That feeling of being bloated and constantly burping after meals, having no energy, and never feeling refreshed no matter what I eat. Lately, it doesn't feel like enteritis, and I don't have a fever, but my stomach is gassy and bloated, and I get a sharp pain around my navel in my lower abdomen. I had half-given up, thinking I just have a weak stomach constitution. I've had several endoscopies to find the cause of my gastritis symptoms, but every time, all I got was a diagnosis that my stomach is weak and a prescription for medication. They also said that anyone can have these symptoms of gastritis to some extent... I've tried cutting down on spicy food and avoiding irritating things, but it's still the same. Honestly, I keep getting the feeling that the symptoms of gastritis aren't just due to food. It gets worse whenever I'm stressed, and it flares up without fail on days when I eat irregularly. I really don't know anymore if I should just keep trying to control it with medication, or if I need to approach it from a different angle. Could the cause of my gastritis symptoms be something other than just food or stomach issues? If it is connected to stress, how should I approach this? I've been told I have nervous gastritis; whenever I get stressed, even while working, my heart feels tight, I feel like I have a fever, and I get sudden, intense pain. For those of you who have received gastrointestinal treatment at a Korean medicine clinic, what was your experience like? How is it different from hospital medication, and can it actually properly address the root cause of the symptoms? I also have no idea how long the treatment should take. To those who suffered from gastritis symptoms for a long time and then changed their approach, Please let me know how you approached it! Let's talk in the comments together, those of you who are exhausted from just enduring it with medication.
