Since last winter, I’ve been getting really hot at night, which has caused me to have trouble sleeping. Lately, my condition has been poor, I have no energy, and it’s really affecting my work. I should be in my prime working years, but I’ve become irritable, snapping at my husband, and I find myself acting a bit more like that without even realizing it. My body is my only asset, so I have to work, there are so many things I need to do, and so many things I want to do, haha. I don't actually snack that much—just a cheat meal once on Friday night and some jelly in between meals—but I'm gaining weight. I'm not sure if my body is getting heavier because of that, or if the swelling just isn't going down and is turning into fat. Anyway, I'm gaining weight, feeling hot flashes—heat rising from my back to the top of my head—and lacking energy. I looked it up, and apparently, these are symptoms associated with menopause. I think a Korean medicine clinic would be the best place to cure all these menopausal symptoms, so I plan to go there to get some herbal medicine. I might as well try to lose weight while I'm at it. As I feel more energetic, I'm also trying to lose weight... maybe I'm getting a bit too greedy... haha. Please recommend a good Korean medicine clinic that specializes in menopausal issues and is very effective.
