Has anyone seen their Irritable Bowel Syndrome symptoms disappear? I have the abdominal pain and gas type, and it's really tough.

I'm suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) symptoms, so I just wanted to post this. No matter what I do, nothing works for me. Is there anyone here whose IBS symptoms have completely disappeared? If so, I'm really curious how long it took for them to go away. Whenever I ask around, everyone just says it's about managing it, but I'm not sure if there are actually people who have fully recovered. I'm currently holding out by controlling my diet, but it's much harder than I thought. It's been a while since I was diagnosed. Is it the abdominal pain type? The gas type? Some call it a mixed type. Anyway, the abdominal pain is severe, and I have to run to the bathroom immediately whenever I get nervous, so going on trips is really tough. Since I really love fried food, especially chicken, I guess it's been building up for a long time... I can't drink beer at all, but wine or soju is somewhat okay. Though even those aren't exactly okay. Because my stomach reacts to everything I eat due to the IBS symptoms, meals feel like a game of guessing the best way to eat. I can't eat fruit freely, and eating small amounts of bananas is pretty much all I can manage. If I eat it all at once, my stomach reacts, so I’ve been eating in small portions. Even when I crave something, I can't bring myself to reach for it because I keep thinking about my stomach. I think it has become chronic because I didn't manage it properly in the beginning and time just passed. At first, I just brushed it off, thinking I was being a bit sensitive, but I never imagined it would drag on this long. I really need to catch Irritable Bowel Syndrome symptoms early on, and I regret missing that opportunity. I want to get it under control now, but I feel like diet control alone has its limits. If anyone has been in a similar situation and gotten better, please let me know how you handled it.
